I schedule another quick visit to Montana on October 8th to view the progress of the my car, see Jack’s and do some of the final fittings if it was far enough along. Well it turns out Jack’s car was just getting finished and my car is still waiting for a bunch of parts.

Not a lot more has been done on the car, but since Jack’s is now officially done it will get a lot more attention…assuming the parts arrive in a timely matter so Larry is not waiting for stuff again.

I visited the JBL final assembly facility on August 18th and 19th in Dillon, Montana. I was able to visit with Larry Goins and get tour the facilities and play around with the car a little bit.

Well the cobra made it safely to Montana. Larry indicated to took four days round trip, a little longer than originally planned for. What is 2000 miles in a couple days? With LA traffic and going through a few mountain passes with a trailer has to be…less than fun (guess I have to keep this clean)

So Jack’s car is the one with a lot shorter time to completion (it looks almost done). This picture shows the side of the shop the cobra’s are on. Mine is on the right side and the chassis in the middle. Larry is going to be having all the fun. The good thing is he is not going to be know as the “Butcher” but the “pro”. I guess I can tell people I had some work done by a pro….hmmm.
